CMU RISS - Google Lunar X-Prize Rover Localization
During the summer of 2014, I participated in the Robotics Institute Summer Scholars Program (RISS) at Carnegie Mellon.
For this, I had the chance to work in the Planetary Robotics Lab under William "Red" Whittaker. I worked on the localization and distance verification methodology for the Andy rover, CMU's entry to the Google Lunar X-Prize. This was a tremendous experience on a fast-paced, motivated team intent on landing on the moon.
